Questions about setting-up
- Startup your Amazon Fire TV Device or Android TV and search for "Simplify Screen" (without quotations). It is a free app.
- Open the app after the installation is complete. You will see a 4 character code on the screen.
- Go to the Simplify Screen settings in your account and enter this code for the appropriate screen.
- Your screen should be connected after a few seconds and you should see your Simplify Screen on your TV now.
- You can now walk through all the settings in your account to set up the screen however you like it.

The TV app can be found in the Amazon App Store and the Google Play Store. On your Fire TV or Android TV device, go to the search field and type in "Simplify Screen". You can recognize the app by our logo.
You can also follow this link to enable it from your computer and push it to your registered device.
If you want to regenerate a code for your Simplify Screen, either to reconnect it or to tie a different account to it, click the "disconnect" button for the appropriate screen in your account.
After clicking this, a 4 character code is shown on your TV and can be entered into your account.
If your Simplify Screen fails to connect, or you want to connect a new device, you can reconnect it by following the steps for getting a new code.
If you want to change your device, follow steps 1 & 2 from "How can I set up my Simplify Screen" above and then follow the steps from "How do I get a new code for my Simplify Screen".

In the overview of your subscription, you can see a button to "Upgrade or Downgrade". After clicking this, you can select a new subscription plan and confirm your change on the checkout page.

Yes we do!
Every Simplify Screen subscription is offered with a 14 day free trial. If you buy a Simplify Screen subscription, you will be asked to enter your Credit Card details on checkout. We will only charge your credit card after your 14 day trial period.
During your 14 day trial you can cancel the subscription at any time without any costs involved.
No. If you cancel your subscription within the trial period it will not cost you anything. After your trial ends, each subscription is billed upfront and runs for 1 month (30 days).
Your subscription will auto renew every month until cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
General questions
Security and encryption are at the heart of our values. We use Stripe as our payment processor. They are a well established, widely used and highly trusted provider of payment services. This means our servers never need to store your credit card details.
The majority of our servers and data are stored in the EU, with the following exceptions:
Google does not guarantee where its data is stored.
Third party content can be stored anywhere based on the individual source. Most CDN's serve data from servers local to the user. We use KeyCDN servers and Google Cloud Services for images.

Troubleshooting
- Make sure that you have saved your settings by clicking the "Save" button.
- Make sure that you have accepted any additional T&C's on the features you wish to use.
- Make sure you have turned "On" all the features you wish to use with the red toggle switch on the right of the features.
- Make sure you are using the correct style.
- Double-check that any examples or guides given for URLs, images, weather locations, etc., match your inputs.
The Simplify Screen uses device data and cache to remember your screen. If you often have issues, check that you are not deleting the data / cache from the device regularly. Also check if any other Apps regularly remove Application data.
If you are using an Amazon Fire TV device, open the Simplify Screen App and press the options button (3 horizontal lines) on your remote. Make sure that the option to start on boot is toggled "on".
